Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP development, customization, and support across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting ABAP objects for business-critical SAP applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, conversions, and workflows.
• Work on RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
• Design and develop custom solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Create and support interfaces using IDocs, RFC, BAPIs, APIs, and Web Services.
• Develop SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, ALV Reports, and enhancements.
• Work on performance tuning and code optimization.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution design.
• Support implementation, rollout, upgrade, and production support activities.
• Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.
• Participate in testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT support.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Expertise in Core ABAP, OOABAP, ALV Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and Enhancements.
• Strong experience in interfaces including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, and Web Services.
• Experience working on SAP S/4HANA and CDS Views.
• Knowledge of AMDP, OData, and SAP Fiori integrations.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Experience in implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP modules such as SD, MM, FICO, PP, or HCM.
• SAP ABAP on HANA experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• SAP certification is an added advantage.
