About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Xstore professional with strong expertise in retail POS solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting Oracle Xstore Suite to meet business and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and implement Oracle Xstore POS solutions.
- Work on Xstore enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and application workflows.
- Troubleshoot Xstore-related issues and provide timely resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams: QA, Business Analysts, Integration, and Infrastructure.
- Ensure seamless deployment of Xstore patches, updates, and new releases.
- Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate on integration with backend systems such as ORPOS, Oracle ERP, Loyalty Systems, etc.
- Participate in requirement gathering, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail Xstore (v7.x / v18.x / v19.x or above).
- Strong experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, XML, and Web Services.
- Good understanding of Oracle Retail Suite: Xoffice, Xcenter, ORPOS, ORCO, Merchandising, etc.
- Experience in POS integrations (Payment gateways, Inventory, Promotions, Loyalty).
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with retail business processes and store operations.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Retail implementation lifecycles.
- Exposure to cloud environments (OCI/AWS/Azure).
- Knowledge of Microservices, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins.
- Oracle certifications (if any) are a plus.
