About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drupal Backend Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining Drupal-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of backend architecture, module development, and API integrations, along with a deep understanding of Drupal 9/10.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend functionalities using Drupal 9/10.
• Create and customize Drupal modules, themes, and plugins as per project requirements.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs for system integrations.
• Optimize backend performance and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Implement and maintain Drupal configuration management and deployment workflows.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and external data sources.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps teams for seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Drupal sites.
• Maintain documentation for code, configurations, and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in Drupal backend development.
• Expertise in PHP, MySQL, and Symfony framework.
• Strong understanding of Drupal core architecture, hooks, and module system.
• Experience with Composer, Drush, and Git-based workflows.
• Proficiency in API development and integration (REST, JSON, GraphQL preferred).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of Drupal security best practices and performance optimization.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Headless Drupal / Decoupled Architecture (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.
• Contribution to the Drupal community or open-source projects.
