Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with 6-7 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development, enhancements, and support across SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA systems. A strong understanding of BRIM-SOM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management – Subscription Order Management) is a mandatory requirement for this role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing robust SAP ABAP solutions that meet business requirements and contribute to the overall efficiency of our SAP landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities:

•Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP programs, including Reports (ALV, Classical/Interactive, OO ABAP), Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.

•Develop and enhance ABAP programs using Object-Oriented (OO) ABAP principles and Advanced List Viewer (ALV) reporting.

•Implement and maintain various SAP enhancements, including User Exits, Customer Exits, Business Add-Ins (BAdIs), and the Enhancements Framework.

•Develop and manage interfaces utilizing key SAP technologies such as IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.

•Design, develop, and maintain output forms using SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.

•Execute data migration and conversion activities using tools like Batch Data Communication (BDC), Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), and custom ABAP programs.

•Analyze functional specifications provided by business users and functional consultants, translating them into detailed technical designs.

•Perform comprehensive debugging and resolve complex production issues efficiently.

•Ensure optimal performance of ABAP developments through performance tuning and adherence to ABAP best practices and coding standards.

•Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business users, and other technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

•Provide critical support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live phases, and post-production support to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills:

•Strong hands-on experience in ABAP/4, Object-Oriented ABAP, and ALV reporting.

•Proven experience with IDOCs, BAPIs, and RFCs for interface development.

•Solid understanding and practical experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.

•Mandatory exposure to BRIM-SOM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management – Subscription Order Management).

•Proficiency in utilizing the Enhancements Framework (User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs).

•Excellent debugging and problem-solving capabilities.

•Good knowledge of Open SQL, performance tuning techniques, and code optimization.

Good to Have:

•Experience with S/4HANA Migration projects.

•Exposure to modern SAP development concepts such as CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and OData services.

•Familiarity with SAP Workflow and Fiori integration.

•Understanding of ABAP on HANA concepts and optimizations.
