Job Summary
The Oracle CPQ Senior Consultant/Architect is a pivotal role within our enterprise applications team, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) Cloud solutions. With a minimum of 8 years of dedicated experience in the Oracle CPQ ecosystem, the successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution. This position demands a strategic thinker who can navigate the intricacies of CPQ architecture while ensuring seamless integration with broader CRM and ERP landscapes to drive business efficiency and revenue growth.
Core Responsibilities
The Senior Consultant/Architect oversees the entire lifecycle of Oracle CPQ projects, from initial discovery and requirement gathering to final deployment and post-go-live support. This involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders to translate high-level objectives into detailed technical specifications and solution blueprints. The role requires a hands-on approach to configuring complex product hierarchies, pricing logic, and approval workflows within the CPQ environment. Furthermore, the Architect is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the system’s architecture, ensuring that all customizations and integrations are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.
Beyond technical execution, this role carries significant leadership expectations. The Architect provides mentorship to junior team members, conducts rigorous code reviews, and ensures that the development team adheres to established standards. They are also tasked with managing project risks and communicating progress to executive leadership, ensuring that CPQ initiatives remain on track and deliver measurable value. Continuous improvement is a key focus, as the Architect must stay informed about the latest Oracle CPQ releases and features, proactively recommending enhancements that can optimize the quoting process and improve the user experience.
