Professional Responsibilities
Architecture and Component Development
The developer will be tasked with the design and customization of AEM components, templates, and dialogs. A primary focus involves building reusable and scalable solutions that strictly adhere to AEM best practices. Beyond basic component creation, the role includes the orchestration of complex workflows and the optimization of system performance through efficient caching strategies, specifically utilizing the AEM Dispatcher.
Backend Logic and System Integration
A significant portion of the role involves developing robust backend logic. This includes the implementation of OSGi services and Sling Models to handle data processing and business rules. Furthermore, the developer will facilitate seamless integrations with third-party ecosystems, such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and various marketing automation tools. The creation of custom schedulers and event handlers will be required to support automated business processes.
Frontend Excellence and Accessibility
On the frontend, the developer will craft responsive user interfaces that provide a consistent experience across diverse devices and browsers. This involves the integration of modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular with the AEM backend via client libraries and Single Page Application (SPA) editors. Every deliverable must meet rigorous standards for cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility to ensure an inclusive digital experience for all users.
