Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Revenue Cloud Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions within the Salesforce Revenue Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both functional and technical aspects of Revenue Cloud, with a proven track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions. This role requires a minimum of 6 years of overall experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and implement solutions using Salesforce Revenue Cloud, including CPQ, Billing, and Revenue Recognition.
•Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical solutions.
•Configure and customize Salesforce Revenue Cloud features such as Product Catalog Management, Pricing & Discounting, Guided Selling, Quote Management, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Order Management, Billing & Invoicing, Subscription Management, Revenue Recognition, and Amendments / Renewals / Cancellations.
•Develop and maintain custom functionalities using Constraint Modeling Language (CML), Price Management (PRC), Transaction Line Editor (TLE), OmniStudio, Salesforce Flows, and Apex.
•Ensure the integrity and accuracy of revenue data across the platform.
•Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
•Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
•Stay updated with the latest Salesforce Revenue Cloud features and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
Overall Experience
•Minimum 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
•Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
Functional Evaluation
•Product Catalog Management: Expertise in managing product hierarchies, bundles, and product rules within Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
•Pricing & Discounting: Proficient in configuring complex pricing strategies, discount schedules, and promotional pricing.
•Guided Selling: Experience in implementing guided selling processes to assist sales representatives in configuring quotes.
•Quote Management: Strong understanding of quote creation, revision, and approval processes.
•Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): Knowledge of managing contracts, amendments, renewals, and cancellations within the CLM framework.
•Order Management: Experience with order creation, fulfillment, and processing within Salesforce.
•Billing & Invoicing: Proficient in configuring billing schedules, invoice generation, and payment processing.
•Subscription Management: Expertise in managing recurring revenue, subscription lifecycles, and usage-based billing.
•Revenue Recognition: Understanding of revenue recognition principles and their implementation in Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
•Amendments / Renewals / Cancellations: Experience in handling changes to existing contracts and subscriptions.
•Core Platform Specific ARM / RCA: Familiarity with Agentforce Revenue Management (ARM) and Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) functionalities.
•Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM): Understanding of the end-to-end revenue lifecycle processes and their optimization using RLM.
•Salesforce CPQ (legacy reference – still widely used): In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ.
•Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) / Lead-to-Cash: Comprehensive understanding of the entire Quote-to-Cash process.
•Revenue Cloud / Revenue Operations: Strong grasp of overall Revenue Cloud capabilities and Revenue Operations best practices.
Technical Evaluation
•Constraint Modeling Language (CML): Hands-on experience with CML for defining product configuration constraints and rules.
•Price Management (PRC): Expertise in configuring and managing pricing rules and matrices.
•Transaction Line Editor (TLE): Proficient in customizing and extending the Transaction Line Editor for quote line item management.
•OmniStudio (for guided selling / UI flows): Experience in building guided selling flows and user interfaces using OmniStudio.
•Salesforce Flows / Flow Builder: Strong proficiency in developing complex automation and business processes using Salesforce Flows.
•Declarative Configuration: Extensive experience with declarative tools for Salesforce configuration.
•API-first Architecture: Understanding of API-first design principles and experience integrating Salesforce with external systems.
•Lightning Experience: Expertise in developing and customizing solutions within the Salesforce Lightning Experience framework.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (or equivalent).
•Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification is highly desirable.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
