Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP BRIM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP BRIM implementations, revenue recognition processes, subscription and billing management, and compliance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 standards. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to design, configure, test, and support end-to-end revenue management solutions within SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to revenue accounting and billing processes.
• Design and configure SAP BRIM solutions with a focus on SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
• Implement and support revenue recognition processes in compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards.
• Configure Revenue Contracts, Performance Obligations (POBs), SSP determination, Revenue Allocation, and Revenue Recognition.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Billing, and IT teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Perform system configuration, functional testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
• Support data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and enhancements.
• Conduct workshops, user training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Analyze business processes and recommend best practices for revenue management optimization.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot complex functional issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of SAP Functional consulting experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BRIM with strong expertise in SAP RAR.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP BRIM/RAR implementation project.
• Strong knowledge of Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) processes.
• Experience with Revenue Contracts, POBs, SSP determination, Revenue Allocation, Contract Modifications, and Revenue Recognition.
• Good understanding of IFRS 15 and ASC 606 compliance requirements.
• Experience in integration with SAP BRIM modules such as:
  • SAP Convergent Charging (CC)
  • SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI)
  • SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM)
  • SAP Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration and Finance processes.
• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and production support.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BRIM and/or SAP RAR Certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Knowledge of Telecom, Subscription-Based Business Models, Utilities, Media, or Digital Services industries.
• Familiarity with Agile and SAP Activate methodologies.
• Exposure to integration technologies and SAP BTP is an added advantage.
