Position Summary

The Enterprise Data Architect will be responsible for defining the enterprise data architecture, solution designs, and integration strategies across critical platforms including SAP, Salesforce, and cloud data environments. This role requires a deep understanding of data harmonization, standardization, and the ability to provide technical leadership to data engineering and modeling teams. The ideal candidate will drive architectural principles that align with our global commercial operating models and ensure robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture and solution designs to support business objectives and technological advancements.

•Design comprehensive integration architectures across diverse platforms, including SAP, Salesforce, and various cloud data platforms.

•Develop and implement a robust data harmonization strategy across global commercial data domains to ensure consistency and interoperability.

•Establish enterprise data models and architecture standards, promoting best practices and governance.

•Drive data standardization and consolidation initiatives to optimize data assets and reduce complexity.

•Align data architecture with global commercial operating models, ensuring seamless data flow and business process support.

•Define and enforce architecture principles focused on scalability, security, and performance for all data solutions.

•Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering and modeling teams, fostering a culture of excellence.

•Review solution designs, ETL frameworks, and implementation approaches to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

•Experience: 8 – 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise data architecture roles.

•Technical Expertise:

•Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP data architecture, including modules and data structures.

•In-depth understanding of Salesforce CRM data architecture.

•Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise data platforms.

•Strong understanding and practical experience with data harmonization and standardization methodologies.

•Domain Experience: Healthcare manufacturing / life sciences domain experience is essential.

•Leadership & Soft Skills:

•Demonstrated strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
