Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Architect/Lead with a minimum of 10 years of dedicated experience in designing, developing, and implementing robust e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the SFCC platform, a strong understanding of architectural best practices, and a proven track record of leading complex projects from conception to deployment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, driving innovation and excellence in our digital commerce initiatives.

Responsibilities

•Lead the architectural design, development, and strategic implementation of large-scale Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) e-commerce solutions.

•Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.

•Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and other technical teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient technical designs.

•Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.

•Architect and implement integrations with various third-party systems, including ERP, CRM, payment gateways, OMS, and other external services.

•Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

•Stay abreast of the latest SFCC features, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions and maintain competitive advantage.

•Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security of the SFCC platform.

•Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and deployment guides.

Qualifications

•Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development and architecture.

•Extensive experience with SFCC B2C Commerce platform, including Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA), SiteGenesis, Business Manager, and Pipelines/Controllers.

•Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.

•Deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, including performance optimization, SEO, security, and user experience.

•Proven experience with integration patterns and technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, APIs) for connecting SFCC with external systems.

•Strong knowledge of database concepts and data modeling.

•Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

•Ability to lead and inspire development teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

•Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer/Architect certifications are highly desirable.

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience with other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Service Cloud, Sales Cloud) and their integration with Commerce Cloud.

•Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

•Experience with agile development methodologies.

•Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
