Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Consultant with 8 years of progressive experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical expertise in SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management. This role requires a strong understanding of global trade processes, regulatory compliance, and the ability to lead and support full lifecycle implementations, as well as ongoing support and enhancements. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and deploying SAP GTS solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules like SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management).

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and participate in full lifecycle SAP GTS implementations, including blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

•Provide expert functional and technical guidance on SAP GTS modules, specifically Compliance Management (Sanctioned Party List Screening, Embargo, Legal Control), Customs Management (Customs Declarations, Import/Export processes, Special Customs Procedures), and Risk Management (Preference Processing, Restitution).

•Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP GTS solutions, ensuring alignment with global trade regulations and company policies.

•Configure and customize SAP GTS functionalities to meet specific business needs, including master data setup, organizational structures, and process flows.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, technical developers, and other SAP module consultants (SD, MM, FI/CO), to ensure integrated and optimized solutions.

•Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate SAP GTS configurations and developments.

•Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of SAP GTS functionalities.

•Troubleshoot and resolve SAP GTS-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

•Stay updated with the latest SAP GTS functionalities, industry best practices, and global trade regulations.

•Document functional specifications, configuration guides, test scripts, and training materials.

•Mentor junior consultants and provide leadership in project settings.

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

•Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP GTS implementations and support.

•Proven expertise in configuring and managing SAP GTS modules: Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.

•Strong understanding of global trade regulations, customs processes, and international trade compliance.

•Experience with at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP GTS implementations.

•Proficiency in integrating SAP GTS with other SAP modules, particularly SAP SD and MM.

•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

•SAP S/4HANA experience with embedded GTS.

•Experience with SAP Fiori applications for GTS.

•Knowledge of other SAP modules such as FI/CO, LE, WM.

•Certification in SAP GTS or related modules.

•Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals).
