Position Overview
The organization is seeking a highly qualified Guidewire Developer to join a high-performing technical team. This remote position is designed for a professional who possesses extensive hands-on expertise in Guidewire XCenters, with a specific and deep focus on PolicyCenter. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of eight years of comprehensive IT experience, including at least five years dedicated to successful Guidewire implementations. This role is central to the design, development, and continuous enhancement of sophisticated solutions within the Guidewire ecosystem.
The successful candidate will operate within a distributed onshore-offshore delivery model, necessitating a high degree of ownership, accountability, and proactive communication. Beyond technical execution, the developer is expected to participate in architecture discussions, provide strategic technical recommendations, and manage the end-to-end delivery of assigned components with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities and Performance Expectations
The Guidewire Developer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of solution development within the Guidewire XCenters, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. This involves working in close coordination with onshore teams and various business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into high-quality, scalable technical solutions. A critical aspect of the role is the ability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical issues while ensuring that all development strictly adheres to Guidewire best practices, established coding standards, and rigorous performance considerations.
