Manage software assets within the ServiceNow platform with a strong focus on compliance, cost optimization, and end-to-end lifecycle management<\/strong>. The role involves configuring and managing the SAM Pro module<\/strong>, integrating data sources, creating insightful reports, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure efficient software utilization, reduce risk, and support audits and renewals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Platform Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Implement, configure, and maintain ServiceNow SAM Pro modules<\/strong>, workflows, and integrations (REST\/SOAP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Customize the platform using scripts, business rules, and UI policies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Compliance & Risk Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Monitor software usage and identify compliance gaps<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Manage software entitlements and support vendor audits<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Handle licensing compliance for major vendors such as Microsoft and Adobe<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Cost Optimization<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Identify and deliver cost savings through license optimization<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Manage software renewals and eliminate unused or underutilized licenses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Lifecycle Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Oversee the complete software lifecycle: procurement, deployment, usage, optimization, and retirement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Reporting & Analytics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Develop dashboards and reports for compliance status, usage trends, and cost analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Provide actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Collaboration & Stakeholder Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Work closely with IT, Procurement, Legal, and Finance<\/strong> teams to align SAM practices with business objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              Technical Expertise<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • Build custom scripts using JavaScript<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST\/SOAP APIs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Provide technical guidance and best practices for SAM implementation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                • 6+ years of experience on the ServiceNow platform<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  Technical Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  • JavaScript & ServiceNow scripting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • REST\/SOAP API integrations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • ITIL framework knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
