About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Tech Consultant with a strong background in Source-to-Pay (S2P) solutions to join our professional services team. In this remote role, you will leverage your 6+ years of technical expertise to advise clients on best practices, lead implementation strategies, and deliver high-quality custom solutions.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in configuring and developing S2P platforms, with a specific focus on Sourcing and Procurement Operations (SPO) and Accounts Payable (AP). You will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that our customers achieve maximum value from their procurement technology investments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Consulting & Advisory
In this role, the Tech Consultant will provide expert guidance on S2P platform capabilities, advising clients on implementation strategies and industry best practices. They will lead and contribute to technical workshops, discovery sessions, and scoping activities to define project requirements, and develop service delivery plans that align technical solutions with broader business objectives.
2. Implementation & Solution Development
The consultant will be responsible for configuring and developing custom solutions within the S2P ecosystem, with a specific focus on SPO and AP modules. This includes translating complex business requirements into scalable technical designs and functional specifications, and supporting the end-to-end implementation lifecycle from initial configuration to testing and go-live support.
3. Team Leadership & Capability Building
As a Tech Consultant, you will act as a technical mentor to the broader team, building confidence and technical capability through knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving. You will ensure that all technical deliverables meet high standards of quality, security, and maintainability, and stay up-to-date with the latest S2P platform updates and industry trends to continuously improve our service offerings.
Required Qualifications
Professional Experience
Candidates should possess a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in technical consulting or software implementation. This includes proven experience in configuring and developing Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms, with hands-on expertise in Sourcing and Procurement Operations (SPO) and Accounts Payable (AP) modules.
Technical Skills
A strong understanding of procurement workflows, including sourcing, contract management, purchasing, and invoicing, is essential. Proficiency in platform configuration, workflow automation, and custom development within an S2P environment (e.g., ServiceNow SPO, Coupa, SAP Ariba, or Ivalua) is required. Additionally, candidates should have experience with integration technologies (APIs, middleware) and data migration strategies for procurement systems.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills are crucial, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, focused on delivering customer-centric solutions, are also required. The ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of collaboration with global teams is paramount.
