Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Salesforce QA Automation Engineer with over 10 years of dedicated experience in quality assurance and test automation within the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader, responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks for complex Salesforce implementations. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.), a strong understanding of various testing methodologies, and advanced proficiency in automation tools and scripting. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our Salesforce solutions, driving continuous improvement in our QA processes, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

•Strategic Test Planning & Execution: Lead the development and implementation of end-to-end test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Salesforce applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements .

•Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and best practices for Salesforce testing .

•Test Script Development: Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.

•Salesforce Platform Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom applications, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs .

•CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback loops, ensuring high-quality releases.

•Defect Management: Oversee the entire defect lifecycle, from identification and logging to tracking, resolution, and verification, using appropriate tools .

•Performance & Security Testing: Lead efforts in performance, load, and security testing for Salesforce applications to ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance.

•Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA team members, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous learning.

•Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and release managers to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure comprehensive test coverage .

•Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall product quality.

•Reporting & Analytics: Generate comprehensive test reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate testing progress, defect status, and overall quality to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation, with a significant focus on Salesforce platforms.

•Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, or other relevant Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.

•Automation Tools: Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce-specific automation tools (e.g., Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, AccelQ, Selenium with Salesforce extensions) and general automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress) .

•Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Apex for test automation scripting.

•Testing Methodologies: Expert-level understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, BDD/TDD, and various testing types (functional, regression, integration, UAT, performance, security).

•CI/CD & Version Control: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

•Test Management Tools: Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM Octane).

•Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL for data validation.

•Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

•Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

•Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate QA teams.
