Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer with 7+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality WordPress websites and applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in custom theme and plugin development, performance optimization, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Customize WordPress using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
• Collaborate with designers and backend teams to deliver responsive UI
• Manage website updates, backups, and troubleshooting
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and version control (Git)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress development
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with custom themes, plugins, hooks, and shortcodes
• Knowledge of WooCommerce and payment gateway integrations
• Familiarity with REST APIs, page builders, and ACF
• Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and security practices
• Experience with Git, staging, and deployment workflows

Good to Have

• Experience with headless WordPress
• Knowledge of React or modern JS frameworks
• Exposure to CI/CD and cloud hosting environments
