About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect with 10+ years of overall experience and strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise OCI environments. The ideal candidate will lead cloud transformation projects, ensure optimal performance, and provide technical guidance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement Oracle OCI solutions for enterprise environments.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures.
• Lead migration of on-premise applications and databases to OCI.
• Configure and manage OCI services such as Compute, VCN, Block/Object Storage, Load Balancer, OKE, IAM, WAF, Oracle Database Cloud Services, etc.
• Create automation scripts using Terraform/Ansible for cloud deployments.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high availability architectures.
• Ensure security compliance with IAM policies, network security, and governance controls.
• Monitor cloud usage, optimize costs, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Networking, Security, and DBA teams.
• Prepare architectural documents, technical designs, and deployment guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong expertise in OCI core services:
  • VCN, Subnets, Routing, Firewalls
  • Compute & Autoscaling
  • Load Balancer & WAF
  • Object & Block Storage
  • OCI Identity & Access Management
  • OKE (Kubernetes), Functions, API Gateway
  • Oracle Autonomous DB & Exadata Cloud Services
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, CLI, and DevOps tools.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and zero-trust architecture.
• Experience designing DR, failover, and multi-region architectures.
• Ability to lead cloud assessment/modernization projects end-to-end.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle OCI Architect Professional Certification.
• Experience in hybrid cloud, multi-cloud integrations (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Experience in cost governance and FinOps practices.
