Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer proficient in Ab Initio and SQL to support the design and implementation of a Data Warehouse solution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data analysis, source-to-target mapping, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data integration and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Data Warehouse Development

• Design and build a scalable Data Warehouse tailored to business requirements.
• Optimize data storage, ETL performance, and query efficiency.
• Ensure seamless integration of data across various business units.

Data Analysis & Mapping

• Conduct detailed data analysis and profiling to understand existing systems.
• Create comprehensive Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation.
• Identify data gaps, anomalies, and inconsistencies in source systems.

ETL Development (Ab Initio)

• Develop and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Ab Initio.
• Build reusable components for efficient data processing and transformation.

SQL & Data Validation

• Write complex SQL queries for data transformation, cleansing, and validation.
• Validate datasets for completeness, accuracy, and readiness for analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Hands-on expertise in Ab Initio tools (GDE, EME, Conduct>It).
• Strong command of SQL for data transformation and validation.
• Experience in financial reporting, especially Return on Capital or related KPIs, is highly preferred.
• Exposure to multi-country data integration or multinational projects.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical design.
