About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Java Architect with a strong background in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java technologies, microservices, cloud platforms, and architecture best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, design, and implement application architecture using Java/J2EE and modern frameworks.
- Lead end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise-grade solutions.
- Provide guidance on design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to translate requirements into scalable architecture.
- Ensure application scalability, performance optimization, and security compliance.
- Drive adoption of microservices, containerization, and cloud-native solutions.
- Perform code reviews, architecture assessments, and technical mentoring for development teams.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 4+ years in an architect role.
- Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of design patterns, system integration, and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and version control (Git).
- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of front-end integration (Angular, React, or similar).
- Prior experience in leading large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Certifications in AWS/Azure/GCP architecture are a plus.
