Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, deep experience with data visualization, statistical analysis, and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand information needs and deliver insights
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Design dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product managers, and business analysts
• Automate reporting processes and support data-driven decision-making initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
• 6+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts (regression, distributions, statistical testing, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python or R is a plus
• Experience working with large datasets and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred:

• Experience in domains like Finance, Retail, Healthcare, or eCommerce
• Exposure to Machine Learning or Predictive Analytics
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
