Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly experienced Senior QA Tester to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation, and quality assurance processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our applications by designing and executing comprehensive test strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality coverage.
• Lead defect triage discussions and track resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Identify, report, and thoroughly document bugs and issues.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
• Conduct regression, performance, functional, and integration testing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior QA team members and drive best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Proficient in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST-assured, or Swagger.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber is a plus.
• Background in testing web and mobile applications.
• ISTQB or similar QA certification is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
